Medicurism

Introducing Medicurism: Revolutionizing Healthcare Technology
Once upon a time, there was a big challenge in international healthcare. There wasn't a single platform where patients could easily connect with hospitals and healthcare providers worldwide. People couldn't even ask for their own health data easily, and health agencies weren't doing their job efficiently.

Then along came Medicurism. This platform made it simple for international patients to find hospitals and providers. It walked patients through the whole process and provided information about different destinations.
I played a big role in making Medicurism happen. Alongside my teammates Oğuz and Yunus, we formed a tight-knit team. Oğuz specialized in UI designing, making sure our platform was user-friendly and visually appealing. Yunus focused on website development, bringing our ideas to life on the web. I led the overall project, orchestrating our efforts and ensuring everything came together smoothly.

Together, we built the whole system from scratch and got it ready for the market and investors. I came up with strategies to make sure Medicurism stood out in the fast-growing health tourism industry. I made pitch decks that got attention at startup events and talked to customers about our platform. We used the scrum framework to keep our team focused as we developed the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). And along the way, I learned a lot about building a brand, developing an MVP, and writing business plans.
And our hard work paid off. In 2022, Medicurism ranked 3rd in the JA Startup Final and was a finalist at the Junior Achievement - Turkiye Finalist Startup. We also got 2nd place in the Stargate Idea Contest in 2021, and I even gave a speech to investors in Istanbul. We were recognized as a startup to watch by several organizations and universities. And in 2020, we were selected for the Incubation Center at Abdullah Gul University.

With Medicurism, we turned a big challenge into an opportunity to make healthcare easier for everyone.
